Comparison of perianal skin barrier function with moisturizer application in Japanese full‐term newborns

Abstract: In full-term newborns, the skin has a structure and barrier function that allows it to adapt to extrauterine life. 1,2 However, diaper dermatitis may develop on the buttocks, including the perianal area, during the process of adaptation to the environment after birth.
