“…The design values calculated as shown in Table 1 are substituted in the system state-space matrix (5) and (6), the output to input transfer function is given as v 2 E = 2.694e 5 S 2 − 1.493e −7 S + 5.321e 11 S 4 + 4001S 3 + 3.158e 6 S 2 + 1.838e 9 S + 2.674e 11 (14) 3…”

“…The proposed work presents the design of Cuk converter for the application on the low-voltage side DC supply EVs. The modelling and small signal analysis of converters in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with various conventional control strategies such as linear control, Z-N tuned proportional-integral (PI), linear quadratic regulator (LQR) tuned controllers, circuit averaging method and so on were used to regulate the output voltage of the converter but the response attained is not satisfactory under various operating point, sensitivity to parameter variations, instability due to line and load variations [2][3][4][5][6]. To overcome such drawbacks, robust non-linear control methods such as voltage control, current control and sliding mode controller (SMC) methods were used to improve the performance of the converter.…”

“…Thus, the error between the reference current I* ref and the phase current I is used by the current control to compute a variable duty ratio such that the phase current emulates the reference value. It should be noted that Integral Proportional (IP) controller is adopted for the speed loop considering both overshoot and disturbances rejection [20] and Proportional Integral (PI) controller is introduced in the current loop to guarantee the dynamic response.…”

“…The use of IP controller has been reported in [1] and [2] for the performance improvement of dc and ac drives which require fast dynamic response and minimum peak overshoot. IP as a position controller is also reported in [3] and [4].…”
