Abstract:Background: Pulmonary complications are among the main causes of increased mortality, and morbidity, as well as prolonged ICU and hospital stay after cardiac surgery. Recently, a sternum-sparing concept of minimally invasive total coronary revascularization via anterior minithoracotomy (TCRAT) was introduced.
