Abstract: ABSTRACT:Background: Periodontal disease comprises a group of inflammatory conditions of the supporting tissues of the teeth that are caused by bacteria. Only few species of subgingival microbiota have been identified as etiologic pathogens. The roots of teeth with mottled enamel are irregular and rough which favor plaque accumulation.
