Abstract:Four lots of raw shelled peanuts, naturally contaminated with aflatoxin, were each ground into a paste. Sixty-four 50-g samples were removed from three of the lots and forty 50-g samples were removed from the fourth lot. For each lot, aflatoxin was extracted from half of the samples by the AOAC Method I (CB) and from the remaining half by the AOAC Method II (BF).
