Comparison of the differential equation accommodation model with experiment

Abstract: A differential equation accommodation model, which we previously presented based upon the Preisach model, has been modified so that changing the accommodation constant, β, does not affect the major loop. This has the dual advantage that identification of the model parameters is easier and also ensures that an accommodating minor loop does not go outside the major loop.
