Comparison of the Effects of Software Zeroing on Performance While Using Two Sighting Technologies in a Marksmanship Simulator

Abstract: This study was an equipment comparison and system process investigation. The primary goal was to determine if (1) the simulator system requires software zeroing prior to use for dynamic marksmanship events, and if (2) the M68 close combat optic (CCO) provides benefits for marksmanship performance over the iron sights when used in conjunction with the simulator system.
