Comparison of two surgical suture techniques in uvulopalatopharyngoplasty and expansion sphincter pharyngoplasty

Abstract: Background Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) and expansion sphincter pharyngoplasty (ESP) are two standard surgical procedures for treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
