“…We used the three‐layer method to repair the defect. Initial horizontal sutures of the endometrial layer and part of the myometrium by 1‐0 poliglecaprone (Monocryl; Ethicon, Somerville, NJ, USA) were followed by locking sutures of the myometrium to close the defect, and finally the serosa was closed with a continuous inverting suture of 5‐0 poliglecaprone 25 (Monocryl) to minimize raw surfaces on the uterus 12 . The estimated blood loss during operation was 3200 mL, and blood transfusion with 10 units of packed red blood cells (2500 mL) and 8 units of fresh frozen plasma was given.…”
