The wireless network is the engine that powers the new world's economy, and it has invaded space in the form of a satellite-powered interplanetary network. Due to signal attenuation, slowed transmission speeds, complete signal unavailability due to inclement weather, and an abundance of connected users, the wireless network's productivity must be increased as soon as possible. Another issue for IoT applications is the outdated TCP protocol, which is unsuitable for low-consumption and limited-storage IoT objects because the data buffer in these devices is negligible. The revolutionary SPT (Squeeze Pack and Transfer) method has been introduced to improve mobile network efficiency while reducing data file storage by more than 90 percent. Rather than textual symbols, binary patterns are used to compress data, resulting in a higher compression ratio and faster compression performance.

The internet is the backbone of today’s digital world. A cobweb of fiber optics/wireless towers have been spread all over the globe for internet access in every nook and corner of the globe. Though fiber optics is a very costly affair, major industries are still opting for fiber network instead of satellite communication. Satellites can be placed in three different orbits for connectivity. These are LEO, MEO, and GEO. Despite so much advancement in the space technologies, satellite broadband is still in its infancy stage. This paper reviews why fiber optics have been the choice of technology giants instead of satellite communications. This paper also discusses various difficulties in implementation of satellite broadband and the implementation of the Starlink project for satellite broadband. This paper also sheds light on how the SPT (Squeeze Pack and Transfer) compression algorithm helps in improving internet implementation using satellite communication.

The wireless network is the driving force behind the new world's economy, and its invasion has spread far beyond Earth in an interplanetary network using satellites. Wireless networks' productivity must be urgently improved because they are prone to signal attenuation, slower transfer speeds, complete signal unavailability due to weather, and overcrowding of connected users. Due to the towers' remote position, excessive latency is also an issue, as is the enormous magnitude of data transfer that comes with the big data revolution. The antiquated TCP protocol, which is ineffective for low consumption and limited storage IoT items as data buffer is insignificant in such devices, is another problem for IoT applications. A novel SPT (Squeeze Pack and Transfer) algorithm has been proposed to increase mobile network productivity and reduce storage by more than 90% for data files. Binary patterns, rather than conventional textual symbols compress data, resulting in a higher compression ratio and faster compression speed. The suggested algorithm will significantly improve network performance while also facilitating efficient data transfer for Internet of Things devices with limited storage. Many researchers confront issues such as low compression ratios and restricted support for multiple data formats from generic compression. All of these concerns are addressed by the proposed method.
