Competition Analysis on Industry Populations Based on a Three-Dimensional Lotka–Volterra Model

Abstract: The classical Lotka–Volterra model is mainly a two-dimensional configuration. The two-dimensional form limits the application scenarios of the Lotka–Volterra model. The research objective of this paper is to develop a feasible three population equilibrium model to analyze the industry competition. In order to expand the Lotka–Volterra model to empirical analysis, this paper proposes a symbiosis model of enterprise population based on a three-dimensional Lotka–Volterra model. This paper analyzes the symbiotic s… Show more

“…Compared with the traditional Lotka-Volterra model [1][2][3][4], the threedimensional grey Lotka-Volterra model has higher accuracy. Compared with the grey Lotka-Volterra model [5,17,18], the Grey-Logistic model [30], and the threedimensional Lotka-Volterra Model [31][32][33][34], the three-dimensional grey Lotka-Volterra model is more applicable.…”

“…In the field of collaborative innovation, how to make good use of the sequential effect and interference effect of individual decision-making and university-enterprise collaborative innovation decisionmaking is worthy of in-depth study. In the future research, researchers can try this method in the fields of portfolio [30], product development [33], supply chain management [34], and industrial competition analysis [35].…”
