With the progress of the times and the development of science and technology, the scientific and technological elements infiltrated in various sports fields are increasingly enriched, which greatly improves the skills and technical and tactical levels of sports participants and sports equipment users and the development of sports items. With the increasing importance of education, people have begun to pay attention to physical education. Tennis has also received much attention in recent years. However, there are many problems in traditional tennis, such as untimely detection and irregular movements, so this paper is aimed at studying how to design an intelligent system for tennis based on wireless sensor network technology. With the development of sports, athletes have higher and higher requirements for themselves. However, traditional training has been unable to find their own mistakes in time, and the intelligent tennis system can not only analyze the data information of tennis in the air but also provide users with various sports analysis data to help players find specific problems and achieve the purpose of comprehensively improving tennis skills. This paper presents the development of wireless sensor networks and tennis and introduces the concepts of wireless sensor networks and tennis. From the data of the experiment in the text, we can see that the growth rate of tennis courses offered in colleges and universities increased from about 4% to about 24% in 2019, an increase of 20%. In 2020, the growth rate of tennis courses in colleges and universities increased from about 21% to about 33%, an increase of 12%. It can be seen that in recent years, tennis has been valued by major universities and loved by students. Therefore, it is necessary to take necessary measures for the development of tennis, and it is very meaningful to realize the intelligent system of tennis based on wireless sensor network.

Competitive balance remains a core component of sport economics literature and an important management consideration for league organisers. This paper analyses competitive balance in the 'big five' Asian football leagues longitudinally between 1996/97 and 2017/18.Using recognised measures of league concentration and dominance, the results display a mixed picture in respect of competitive balance across the five major leagues in Asian football. The Asian football market has seen positive growth during the last two decades while competitive balance in most of the leagues examined has remained relatively stable. Some significant differences were detected in the levels of concentration between leagues.There was also some variation in terms of some leagues being dominated by a fewer number of teams. However, these two measures of competitive balance (concentration and dominance) were not necessarily correlated with each other. In a broader governance context, questions remain over the potential for further growth in the Asian football market given the dominant market position of the European game.

“…As the origins of the concept of competitive balance are based on North American baseball (Rottenberg, 1956), substantial research focusing on the CB has been done on sports leagues in North America (Lenton, 2015;Maxcy & Mondello, 2006;Mills & Fort, 2014;Price & Sen, 2003;Salaga & Fort, 2017;Zimbalist, 2002). Following the proliferation of the researchers analysing sports economics since 1950, CB has been analysed in professional football leagues in Europe (Curran et al, 2009;Pawlowski et al, 2010;Ramchandani et al, 2018), a few papers on sport leagues in Asia (Lee et al, 2016;Tainsky et al, 2017), in other sports such as the rugby union (Williams, 2012), Formula One (Judde et al, 2013;Mastromarco & Runkel, 2009;Schreyer & Torgler, 2018), and cricket (Bhattacharya & Smyth, 2003;Hynds & Smith, 1994;Lenten, 2008). Rationale: This study analyses competitive balance (CB) in all formats of men's international cricket longitudinally between 1877 and 2019 with the results broken down into segregated time periods to account for changes in the format of the sport over the course of its history. Methodology: Using recognised measures of league concentration, the results display a mixed picture in respect of competitive balance across the various formats of cricket. Men's international cricket has seen growth in the last five years after all Twenty20 (T20) matches between International Cricket Council (ICC) member nations have been awarded international status and competitive balance in all formats of the game has remained relatively stable. Findings: No significant changes have been observed in CB scores in test and One Day Internationals (ODI) while improvement in CB scores have been observed for T20I. We did not find any impact of the introduction of T20I on competitive balance in ODI cricket. Practical implications: In a broader governance context, questions remain over the potential for further growth of the international cricket market given the dominant market position of the full members of ICC, in particular India, Australia and England, who have access to majority of the central revenue funding from the governing body.
