Competitiveness of wood pulp in the international market

Abstract: Currently, Brazil is the third largest exporter of wood pulp. The objective of present study is to analyze the market competition in the international market of wood pulp in terms of concentration and inequality during the period from 2002 to 2014. Monetary values of exports were collected on the UNCONTRADE database and deflated afterwards, considering 2012 as the base year.
