For breakthrough, it is urgent to study creatively new strategies, such as stabilization of lignin, selective oxidation, fermentation, lignin‐first, integrated utilization of lignocellulose, new catalysis systems and new types of catalyst instead of carbon supported noble metal based catalysts ,,,,.
