Abstract:The complete mitochondrial genome of
Tomocerus caputiviolaceus
was sequenced and assembled. The complete mitochondrial genome is 15,519 bp in length. The mitogenome contained 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 tRNAs, and two rRNAs. In phylogenetic analysis based on the nucleotide sequences of 13 PCGs,
T. caputiviolaceus
is closely related to
Tomocerus qinae
Yu, Yao & Hu, 2016, both of which belong to the genus
