Abstract:The eggplant fruit and shoot borer (EFSB) (Leucinodes orbonalis Guenée) is a devastating lepidopteran pest of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) in the Philippines. Management of an insect pest like the EFSB requires an understanding of its biology, evolution, and adaptations.
