Abstract:We report the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of the giant freshwater prawn (
Macrobrachium rosenbergii
) from Bangladesh. The circular genome is 15,766 base pairs long, with a GC content of 38.1%, and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, 2 rRNA genes, and 1 control region.
