Complete occipitalization of the atlas with bilateral external auditory canal atresia

Abstract: Fusion of the atlas with the occipital bone is a rare congenital dysplasia known as occipitalization of the atlas, occipitocervical synostosis, assimilation of the atlas, or atlanto-occipital fusion.
