Abstract:The taxonomic classification of the genera Salsola L., Pyankovia Akhani and Roalson, and Xylosalsola Tzvelev within Chenopodiaceae Vent. (Amaranthaceae s.l.) remains controversial, with the precise number of species within these genera still unresolved.
