Complexities Faced by Non-native Learners in Accuracy and Fluency in English Language speaking at BS Level

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the complexities faced by non-native learners in achieving accuracy and fluency in English language speaking at the BS level. Students studying English as a second or foreign language often encounter challenges in effectively communicating in English. Limited exposure to the language and lack of opportunities for expressive speaking hinder their ability to communicate proficiently. Additionally, educational practices and policies, such as an emphasis on grammar and academic discussions, often neglect the development of practical communication skills. This study utilized a quantitative research approach to collect data from 150 BS English students at
