Abstract:Background: Dengue has a wide spectrum of clinical presentations, often with unpredictable clinical evolution and outcome. While most patients recover following a self-limiting nonsevere clinical course, small proportion progress to severe disease. Early recognition of dengue is challenging because the initial symptoms are often non-specific.
