Materials and Methods: Ten patients of recent (<3 weeks old) displaced intracapsular fracture neck femur (Garden III and IV, Pauwels III, with or without comminution) in the age group 20-40 years (mean 27.5 ) were subjected to osteosynthesis and primary valgus intertrochanteric osteotomy using dynamic hip screw with side plate and a derotation screw.
