“…The causality behind our findings is likely multifactorial including retained hardware, poor soft tissue integrity, and increased surgical dissection because of prior surgery. Patients with multiligament injuries are also at increased risk for arthrofibrosis as a result of prior trauma and surgery [28,29,44,54].
