Composite Joining

Abstract

This article addresses issues involved in composite joining. Mechanical fastening and adhesive bonding are of primary interest because of their common applications. In each joining technique, the discussions include geometry, material, design, testing, and analysis. Other joining techniques are only briefly mentioned for reference purpose.
