“…The higher value of activation energy for crystallization in al-ni-y-Ce alloys, compared with other al-based amorphous alloys, for instance, al 83 ni 10 Si 2 Ce 5 , al 87 ni 5 Co 2 nd 6 and al 85 ni 10 Ce 5 amorphous alloys, also implies the much higher thermal stability of MEaa ribbons [27]. in general, wear resistance is closely allied to the hardness of the metal material [28]. “…The partial substitution of Fe by mixed rare earth reduced the amorphous formation ability of the coating, and the amorphous content was reduced from 74.9% to 64.3%. Zhou et al 63 prepared Albased amorphous coatings by changing the powder ratio and found that when the content of Ni or Ti was low, there were more intermetallic compounds such as a-Al, Al 3 Ni and Al 3 Ti, and the amorphous content was low. With the increase of Ni or Ti content, the amorphous content first increased and then decreased, and the crystalline phase decreased significantly.…”

“…In recent years, the binary and ternary metallic glasses of Al-Ni-Ti systems have been intensively studied experimentally in terms of their structures, properties and metallic glass formation [15,16]. For instance, Howie explored metallic glass formation in Al-Ni-Ti and demonstrated that fwhm and corrosion resistance are correlated and that a large fwhm, attributed to a glassy phase, is necessary for the highest corrosion resistance [15].…”
