Compound-internal anaphora: evidence from acceptability judgements on Italian argumental compounds

Abstract: The particular properties of argumental compounds in Italian pose interesting theoretical challenges, and investigations of possible syntactic operations within this type of complex words have resulted in conflicting conclusions.
