Comprehensive Assessment of the Level of Development of the Regional Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolutio

Abstract

The article analyzed the definition of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, proposed the author's definition of the category "entrepreneurial ecosystem." The influence of the fourth industrial revolution on the activities of business entities and the entrepreneurial ecosystem is considered. A model of a comprehensive assessment of the level of development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region in the context of the fourth industrial revolution is presented, including a methodology for determining the level of development of entrepreneurship and the level of development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as a survey of small businesses. The need to determine the priority activities of the region for the development of entrepreneurship is justified, which, together with the data on the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, will allow focusing on the points of growth of the region.
