Comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation: A cost assessment based on a randomized clinical trial

Abstract: Comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation is more costly than usual care, and the higher costs are not outweighed by a quality of life gain. Comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation is, therefore, not cost-effective.
