Abstract:Pulmonary spindle cell carcinoma (PSCC) is a rare and aggressive non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) subtype with a dismal prognosis. The molecular characteristics of PSCC are largely unknown due to its rarity, which limits the diagnosis and treatment of this historically poorly characterized malignancy. We present comprehensive genomic profiling results of baseline tumor samples from 22 patients histologically diagnosed with PSCC, representing the largest cohort to date. Somatic genetic variant detection was c… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
