Abstract: Recent incidents outside Canada prompted the Canadian Energy Regulator (CER), the British Columbia Oil & Gas Commission (BCOGC) and the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) to advise pipeline operators regarding the possibility of girth weld strain-induced failures in high strength pipe.
