Comprehensive Queueing Analysis for a Partial Buffer System with Discrete Markovian Arrival Processes

Abstract: In this paper, we evaluate the performance of a partial buffer system with finite capacity, deterministic service time and multiple sources. Each source is modeled by a Discrete Markovian Arrival Process (D-MAP). We evaluate the queueing system for several traffic composition and different sizes of the shared buffer area.
