Abstract:Background: Infectious-allergic, neurogenic, occupational, immunological, and crossover factors play a significant role in the etiopathogenesis of chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis (CRAS). Moreover, CRAS is associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and viral infections of the oral cavity secondary to urogenital pathologies.
