Computation of high-temperature equilibrium airflows using discontinuous Galerkin finite element method

Abstract: SUMMARYIn this paper, the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) ÿnite element method is applied to simulate hightemperature equilibrium air ows. Two approximate Riemann solvers are used to compute the advective ux. A second-order TVD Runge-Kutta time integration scheme is employed to march the solution in time.
