Computational and Experimental Investigation of Supersonic Convection over a Laser-Heated Target

Abstract: This research concerns the development and validation of simulation of the beam-target interaction to determine the target temperature distribution as a function of time for a given target geometry, surface radiation intensity and free stream flow condition.
