Computational identification and functional annotation of miRNAs in medicinal plant Helianthus petiolaris

Abstract: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short (*22 nucleotide), non-coding RNAs that regulate messenger RNA (mRNA) or protein levels either by promoting mRNA degradation or by attenuating protein translation.
