Abstract: Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), affecting millions of people worldwide, is the leading cause of the liver disorder, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. HCV is genetically diverse having eight gen-otypes and several subtypes predominant in different regions of the globe.
