Computing and comparative analysis of topological invariants of Y‐junction carbon nanotubes

Abstract: Recent findings of diverse forms of carbon nanostructures have encouraged research on their applications in several areas. They are used as a structural material in electronic and optical devices, involving transistors, photodetectors, plastic, biological sensors, pharmaceutical and medicine, and drug delivery systems. Since the discovery of Y-shaped carbon nanotubes (CNTs) junctions, they have drawn interest for future electron devices, for example, three-terminal transistors, amplifiers, and switches. A topo… Show more

“…M-polynomial is one of the techniques. By using eorems 2 to 4, we can verify the main results of topological indices given in the [36], for the structure of Y-type junction or J m (n, n). Similarly, for the results of the structure of Y-second type junction or I ′ J m (n, n), we can use the results of our main eorems 6 to 8 and use the values of x y 1.…”

“…e Y-junctions investigated in this paper are formed by the covalent interconnection of three finite-length armchair single-walled nanotubes that intersect at a 120 °angle and are specified by the chiral vector (n, n). For detail study of structures, authors refer to [38][39][40][41]. A Y-junction graph is defined as follows:…”
