The fluorescence quenching of 2-aminopurine and 2-phenylindole, acting a sensitizers, by 2-aminobenzophenon, acting as acceptor, in viscous solvents (Glycerol + 5% methanol) and its influence on the emission anisotropy (EA) of the sensitizer were investigated. It was found that the relation rj/rjo -r/ro (rj/rjo the relative quantum yield and T/TO the relative mean lifetime of the excited sensitizer) in this case is good fulfiled. The behaviour of the EA in the investigated acceptor concentration range is discussed. Abb. 1. Term-und Übergangsschema für die drei charakteristischen Fluoreszenzanteile eines Donor-Akzeptorsystems.
