Concept of a mobile three-channel IR lidar system for sounding greenhouse gases in the atmosphere

Abstract: Lidar returns of a mobile three-channel IR lidar system which is currently designed are simulated in the spectral ranges informative for sounding greenhouse gases (CH4, CO2, and H2O) along horizontal and slant tropospheric paths. The configuration of the lidar system is described.
