Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an incurable chronic inflammatory disease associated with significant functional impairment and disability, linked to inflammatory and structural articular and peri-articular damage. Structural damage occurs rapidly in RA if inflammation is not efficiently suppressed.
