Conceptual Design of 3 Independent Motor Actuation Transmission Systems for Low-Cost Anthropomorphic Prosthetic Hand

Abstract: Abstract-This paper presents a transmission mechanism design for anthropomorphic prosthetic hand which enables it to do both power and precision grip. The fingers and thumb is pull type with 1 DOF and they must be adaptive towards object's contour. In the other hand, transmission system must be small enough to be placed in metacarpal.
