Abstract:This paper investigates the application of Fourier image enhancement combined with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for detecting cracks in concrete structures. Fourier enhancement is used to preprocess crack images, improving their clarity and reducing noise, which in turn enhances the performance of the CNN in accurately classifying cracks.
