This ninetieth issue of DIALOGO (2024) is dedicated to the multi-theme “Discrimination, Bias, and Repudiation,” addressing an [unfortunately, ongoing] actual and critically relevant issue. The focus is on human biases in contemporary society, encompassing discriminatory behaviors, actions, and legislation, particularly amid global crises, local conflicts, and increasing wars. These challenges often diverge from universal human values. By advocating for merciful human coexistence, DIALOGO collates various articles assessing conflict and societal responses to these pervasive behaviors. We start our endeavor with the inquiry, “How do discrimination, bias, and repudiation manifest across different societal, psychological, and cultural contexts, and what strategies can be employed to mitigate these pervasive human behaviors effectively?”
