Abstract

537 students shared by three (03) faculties : the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences. Since then, the ambition has been to make of Kara a real famous and international university town, relying on the assets of its geographical location between northern Ghana and northern Benin on one hand, and on the main road of the corridor linking Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger on the other hand. To achieve this, the strategies adopted include, among others, innovative training offers submitted to accreditation to ensure their national and international attractiveness, public-private partnership to facilitate the professional insertion of graduates, high internationalisation to ensure the quality and visibility of the University through a network of established famous partners.To date, Kara University has 21 000 students shared among five (05) faculties and one (01) high institute.
