Show more

“…In addition, force measurements for IR were performed in the bear‐hug position and compared to the pain free, healthy (checked with ultrasound) contralateral side. Maximal isometric voluntary contraction (MVC) was measured with a MicroFet 2 hand‐held dynamometer which is an accurate, portable Force Evaluation and Testing (FET) device, with a sample frequency of 10 sample/s (Hogan Health Industries, Inc. 8020 South 1300 West, West Jordan, USA) [32, 33].…”

“…In the study by Saccol et al 21 , reproducibility of HHD for the internal and external shoulder rotators was evaluated in 20 volunteers placed in supine position using a manual method and in sedestation position using a fixed method, with a rigid device. The ICC values of the non-fixed method determined in this current study, were higher than those determined by Saccol et al 22 .…”

“…Isometric shoulder strength assessments were conducted using a Handheld Dynamometer (MicroFET 2; Hoogan Health Industries, West Jordan, UT, USA) to ensure precise measurements ( Biasini et al, 2023 ; Cools et al, 2016 ; Saccol, Santos & Oliano, 2017 ). Participants maintained a supine throughout the testing procedures.…”
