Abstract: (1) Background: Gentamicin is known to be nephrotoxic and ototoxic. Although gentamicin dosage guidelines have been established for preterm and term neonates, reports do show attainment of recommended peak concentrations but toxic gentamicin concentrations are common in this age group.
