Abstract:For the first time, explicit stabilization of all the three conformers, viz. (cis, cis), (cis, trans) and (trans, trans), of a ‘nano‐sized’ highly‐flexible urea‐bridged Zn(II)porphyrin dimer have been achieved via careful manipulations of external stimuli such as solvent dielectrics, temperature, anionic interactions, axial ligation and surface‐induced stabilization. The conformers differ widely in their structures, chemical and photophysical properties and thus have vast potential applicability. X‐ray structural… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
