“…CONGENITAL annualar or con¬ strictive bands have been pre¬ viously described by Johnson (1941),1 Bluefarb (1948),2 Wells Wells and Robinson3 into four general classes: (1) ainhum, (2) congenital bands, (3) ainhum-like bands associated with other diseases, and (4) bands second¬ ary to trauma.
