Congenital Intraluminal Mucosal Web of the Esophagus With Tracheo-Esophageal Fistula

Abstract: The esophagus of a 30-hour-old girl was completely obstructed by an intraluminal mucosal web. This rare esophageal anomaly was associated with a fistula between the trachea and the distal esophagus beyond the site of obstruction. Because of the radiographic findings the correct diagnosis was suspected preoperatively.
