I would like to highlight that these mutations are relatively common in the Asian population compared to F5/F2 mutations, with a recent meta-analysis by Zhu et al [ 7 ] demonstrating the prevalence of PROC, PROS1 and SERPINC1 deficiency at 7.1%, 8.3% and 3.8% respectively in East Asian patients with VTE.
